Comparative clinical application of two domestic fluorescence in situ hybridization kits in bladder cancer
Objective:Comparing the detection results of malignant urothelial cells isolated from voided urine between two domestic Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization(FISH)kits and probe the potential clinical value of FISH.Methods:Urine of 20 patients were collected from Center for Clinical Laboratory,Capital Medical University between January 2021 to January 2022.We used different domestic kits to test the different results of chromosomal aberrations and then compared with CellDetect® staining. Results:Only one patient with the test results of two domestic kits were inconsistent. And the results show that the remaining patients were consistent with the assay result(P>0.05).The positive detection rates of the two kits were 50%and 45%,respectively.Conclusion:We found that the high concordance of the results of chromosomal aberrations with two different FISH kits and both kits can be detected bladder cancer in clinical laboratories.
