Application of optimized intake management during labor in gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective:To investigate the application effect of optimized intake management duringlabor in GDM.Methods:103 GDM postpartum women in our hospital from May 2020 to August 2022 were divided into two groups. The control group received routine management, while the observation group received optimized admission management.Compared the labor process, postpartum hemorrhage volume, blood glucose levels, and newborn condition between the two groups. Results:Theactive period of the first stage of labor, the second stage of labor and the total stage of labor in the observation group were shorter(P<0.05).Blood glucose level and 2h postpartumblood loss of the observation group were lower.Neonatal blood glucose level and Apgar scorewere higher. The incidence of neonatal hypoglycemia was lower(P<0.05).Conclusion:Applying optimized intake management to women with GDM during labor can shortenlabor process, lower blood glucose level, improve neonatal Apgar scores and reduce the incidence of neonatal hypoglycemia.
