Influencing factors of readiness for discharge in elderly patients after joint replacement and the countermeasures
Objective:To analyze the influencing factors of readiness for discharge in elderly patients after joint replacement.Methods:119 elderly patients who underwent joint replacement in the hospital from March 2022 to August 2023 were as the research subjects.The patients were surveyed using the general information questionnaire and the Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale(RHDS).Univariate analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis were conducted to identify the influencing factors of patients'readiness for discharge.Results:The total score of RHDS in this study was(83.91±8.92),indicating a moderate to low level of readiness for discharge.Univariate analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysisresultsshowed that age,education level,HADS scoreand post-activity pain were influencing factors of readiness for discharge in elderly patients after joint replacement(P<0.05).Conclusion:Patients who have undergone joint replacement surgery in the elderly have a low level of preparation for discharge,and it is necessary to pay attention to those who are elderly,have low education,have poor psychological status,and experience pain after exercise,and intervene in a timely manner to improve their condition.
