Factors influencing postoperative self-care ability of patients with rhinosinusitis and nasal polyps
Objective To analyze the factors influencing postoperative self-care ability of patients with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps(CRSwNP).Methods The general information questionnaire,Exercise of Self-care Agency(ESCA),family support scale,Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)were used to investigate 80 patients with CRSwNP.The factors influencing their postoperative self-care ability were analyzed.Results Age,education level,course of disease,postoperative complications,family support level and negative emotions were factors influencing the patients'self-care ability after surgery(P<0.05).Postoperative ESCA score was significantly positively correlated with family support score,and was significantly negatively correlated with SDS score and SAS score of patients with CRSwNP(P<0.05).Conclusion Postoperative self-care ability of patients with CRSwNP is related to family support level and negative emotions.Improving family support level and reducing negative emotions can improve their self-care ability.
