Early application of multiple cytokines in children with severe and infectious community-acquired pneumonia
Objective:To investigate the early application value of multiple cytokines in children with severe and infectious community-acquired pneumonia. Methods:A total of 35 cases of mild and 35 cases of severe children with community-acquired pneumonia in the First People's Hospital of Chenzhou were selected as control group and study group, respectively, and the serum cytokine levels were detected by flow cytometry technology, and the differences between the two groups were compared. Results:The IL-6 level in the study group and the infectious group was higher than that in the control group and the non-infectious group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in other cytokine levels;the area under the ROC curve for early prediction of IL-6 was 0.638(95%CI:0.508-0.768,P<0.05).Conclusion:IL-6 is significantly elevated in children with severe community-acquired pneumonia and early infectious pathogen infection, and combined with CRP has important significance for disease prediction.
