The impact of situational games on the cooperation and potential risk prevention of children's venous blood collection
Objective:To explore the impact of situational games on children's venous blood collection coordination and the impact of potential risks and puncture success rate risk of adverse events.Methods:107 pediatric patients with venous blood collection admitted from January to December 2022 were randomly divided into a study group and a control group for intervention. The two groups were compared in terms of puncture cooperation, pain behavior reactions, crying duration, facial pain time, puncture time,one-time puncture success rate, and incidence of potential risk. Results:After intervention, the cooperation degree of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the FLACC score, crying, facial pain time, and puncture time were all lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).In addition, the success rate of one-time puncture and the overall incidence of potential risk such as bleeding, needle blockage, phlebitis, and vascular wall damage were also better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Situational games can significantly improve the pain degree and cooperation of venous blood sampling in outpatients, improve the success rate of puncture, and reduce the occurrence of potential risk.
