Research on the correlation study of Serum CA15-3,CEA,and HER2 with Breast Cancer progression
Objective:To investigate the clinical application value of CA15-3,CEA,and HER2 in breast cancer(BCa).Methods:A total of 81 BCa patients who visited our hospital between October 2018 and November 2023 were selected as subjects. The levels of CEA,CA15-3,and HER2 were measured, and clinical data were collected. The correlation of CEA,CA15-3,and HER2 with age, menopause, tumor size, and metastasis was analyzed, and the levels of CEA and CA15-3 were compared between different groups. Results:The t-test comparison of CEA levels between the groups of≤55 and>55 years, tumor diameter>2 cm and≤2 cm,axillary lymph node metastasis and non-metastasis,and HER2-negative and HER2-positive groups showed P values of 0.575,0.011,0.048,and 0.031,respectively.The levels of CA15-3 in these groups were also compared by t-test,with P<0.05 in all cases.Correlation analysis indicated that CA15-3 and CEA were positively correlated with age, menopause, tumor size, and metastasis, while HER2 was not correlated with any of these factors.Regression analysis indicated that CEA,CA15-3,and HER2 were independent risk factors for the severity of BCa.Conclusion:CA15-3,CEA,and HER2 are independent risk factors for the severity of BCa.Real-time monitoring of CA15-3,CEA levels, and HER2 positivity can help assess the clinical stage, recurrence, and metastasis of BCa.
