Application of Otago exercise programme combined with intermediate frequency pulse therapy in the rehabilitation of cerebral infarction hemiplegia
Objective:To explore the effect on cerebral infarction hemiplegia treated by combined application of Otago exercise programme(OEP)and intermediate frequency pulse therapy. Methods:The study subjects were 90 patients with cerebral infarction hemiplegia in the hospital, and were randomly divided into 45 cases in group A and 45 cases in group B.The group B received intermediate frequency pulse therapy, and the group A was given OEP training on the basis of the group B.The limb function, daily living ability, balance ability and quality of life were compared before and after treatment. Results:Compared with before treatment, the scores of FMA,MBI,MFES,BBS and NHP were obviously higher in both groups After 14 day of treatment(P<0.05),and the group A had significantly higher scores(P<0.05).Conclusion:OEP combined with intermediate frequency pulse therapy can relieve the degree of neurological impairment, promote the recovery of motor function, improve the body's balance and enhance the quality of life in patients with cerebral infarction hemiplegia.
