Relationship between personality traits,emotional state and quality of life in moderate to severe burn patients
Objective:To analyze the relationship between personality traits,emotional states,and quality of life in patients with moderate to severe burns.Methods:A total of 136 patients with moderate to severe burns who were treated at Beijing Jishuitan Hospital,capital Medical University from April 2021 to April 2023 were selected for the survey,using the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire-Restructured Short Form(EPQ-RSC),the Self-Assessment Scale for Anxiety(SAS),and the Short Form Health Survey(SF-36).Results:Patients with moderate to severe burns had a total EPQ-RSC score of(25.66±3.90),a total SAS score of(69.64±5.41),and a total SF-36 score of(50.49±7.83).Personality traits have a mediating effect between emotional state and quality of life.Conclusion:Healthcare professionals should implement individualized interventions based on the personality traits of patients with moderate to severe burns to improve emotional states and enhance quality of life.
