Analysis of the Impact of Root Canal Treatment on Tooth Loosening,Efficacy, and Safety in Periodontal Lesions
Objective:To investigate the impact of root canal therapy on periodontal disease tooth loosening, efficacy, and safety.Methods:120 patients with periodontal lesions treated from May 2022 to April 2023,and compare the periodontal improvement, chewing recovery, and safety of root canal+basic treatment and single basic treatment in groups. Results:After treatment, the periodontal condition improved and chewing function was enhanced in both groups of patients, but the improvement was more significant in the study group(P<0.001),with lower GBI,PD,and TM scores and better chewing function. The study group showed a more significant decrease in inflammatory factors hs CRP,IL-6,and TNF-α(P<0.001),with an adverse reaction rate of only 10%,significantly lower than the control group's 25%(P<0.05).For different periodontal lesions, the study group had better post-treatment scores(P<0.001)and a lower incidence of adverse reactions. Conclusion:Root canal therapy has significant therapeutic effects on periodontal lesions on different tooth surfaces, improving periodontal health, enhancing chewing function, and reducing adverse reactions.
