Value analysis of 3.0T MRI in diagnosis of ovarian cystadenoid tumors:comparison with pathology
Objective:To investigate the characteristic features of ovarian cystadenoid tumors on 3.0T MRI and improve the diagnostic level.Materials and methods:A total of 25 cases of ovarian cystadenoid tumors confirmed by surgery and pathology were collected, and 3.0T MRI was performed before surgery. The imaging features were retrospectively analyzed. Results:There were 31 lesions in 25 cases,18 lesions in 14 serous cystadenous tumors and 13 lesions in 11 mucous cystadenous tumors. The benign lesions showed thin and smooth cyst wall, thin and regular separation, and no enhancement.Borderline or malignant cystadenoid tumors are mostly cystic solid mixed signals, visible septal and wall nodules, enhanced posterior wall nodules and strengthened septal.Compared with the pathological results,7 cases had diagnostic errors,2 cases were misdiagnosed, and 5 cases were not diagnosed with borderline or malignant. The MRI diagnosis rate of cystadenoid tumors was 92.0%(23/25),and the coincidence rate of benign and malignant tumors was 80%(20/25).Conclusion:3.0T MRI can well display the signal characteristics of ovarian cystadenoid tumors,so as to guide clinical selection of reasonable treatment.
