Application of ultrasound evaluation of renal artery blood flow resistance index in differential diagnosis of diabetic kidney disease
Objective:To explore the application of Doppler ultrasound in evaluating renal artery blood flow resistance index(RI)in the differential diagnosis of diabetic kidney disease(DKD)and non-DKD.Methods:The clinical data of 84 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)who were suspected with DKD were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent Doppler ultrasound examination and were divided into DKD group(44 cases)and non-DKD group(40 cases). Results:The RI values of the main renal artery were higher in DKD group than those in non-DKD group(all P<0.05).Logistics regression analysis showed that IMT,UA,BUN,SCr,β2-MG,HbAlc and CysC were independent risk factors for DKD(all P<0.05).The AUC of RI value in identifying DKD was 0.865.Conclusion:The renal artery RI value detected by ultrasonography has a high effective in differentiating DKD.
