Application of Aisha Mill in Copper-zinc Separation of a High-sulfur Copper-zinc Mixed Rough Concentrate
It is difficult to obtain copper concentrate with copper grade of more than 18%in the pro-cess of copper-zinc separation from a high-sulfur copper-zinc mixed rough concentrate. In order to solve the problem of low copper concentrate grade,a comparative experimental study was carried out on the Aisha mill regrinding process and the on-site ball mill + hydrocyclone regrinding classification process. The exper-imental results show that the copper concentrate with copper grade of 20.52%,zinc content of 2.38%and copper recovery of 89.32%can be obtained by using the Aisha grinding process in the separation of copper and zinc.Compared with the on-site ball milling and regrinding process, the grade of copper concentrate in-creased by 2.82 percentage points, the zinc content decreased by 1.17 percentage points, and the copper re-covery rate increased by 3.98 percentage points.
