Semi-industrial Test of an Ultra-fine Grain Size Magnetite with Three-stage Grinding by Aisha Mill
In order to solve the problem of low grade of iron concentrate in an ultra-fine grain size magnetite of Benxi Iron and Steel Group,aiming at the problems of low efficiency of the original grinding equipment and overgrinding and undergrinding of grinding products,a semi-industrial experimental study was carried out by using ALC-1000L type Aisha mill.The semi-industrial test was carried out by diverting part of the two-stage magnetic separation rough concentrate from the production process into the grinding of the Aisha mill,which was operated in parallel with the three-stage grinding and classification process in the production,and the drainage-mine from the Aisha mill was incorporated into the three-stage magnetic sepa-ration process on site.The test results show that the particle size distribution of the grinding products of the Aisha mill is narrower.Compared with the overflow of the three-stage ball mill cyclone on site,the grade of iron concentrate after magnetic separation of Aisha mill drainage-mine is increased by 3.65 percentage points,and the grade of tailings is reduced by 2.18 percentage points.The separation index of the Aisha mill is better,and the energy saving and consumption reducing effect is remarkable.
