Study on Flocculation and Sedimentation Characteristics of Sand Aggregate Washing Wastewater in a Large Mine in Anhui
In order to study the flocculation and sedimentation characteristics of tailings mud in a large-scale mine sand and gravel aggregate washing wastewater in Anhui Province, aiming at the problems of slow sedimentation rate of tailings mud, turbidity of overflow water and high water content of mud cake in the treatment system of sand and gravel aggregate washing wastewater in the mine, the static thickening test in the laboratory was carried out,and the variance analysis of the test results was carried out by SPSS soft-ware.The results show that the flocculation sedimentation effect of anionic polyacrylamide is better than that of non-ionic polyacrylamide and cationic polyacrylamide in the flocculation sedimentation test of the tail mud.Using 16 million molecular weight anionic polyacrylamide, when the dosage is 60 g/t and the average concentration of tail mud feed is 7.2%,the overflow level SS is 69.94 mg/L,the average moisture content of filter cake is 17.89%,and the average concentration of underflow is 49.7%,which meets the industrial pro-duction requirements of overflow water SS less than 100 mg/L and filter cake moisture content of about 18%.The research results provide a basis for the industrial application of flocculant in the treatment system of sand aggregate washing wastewater in this mine, and can provide experience for the treatment of other simi-lar mine wastewater.
