Study on Influence of Iron Grade of a Vanadium-titanium Magnetite Ore in Western Panzhihua on Iron Concentrate Quality
In order to improve the scientific development of different quality ore resources in Panzhi-hua mining area, the relationship between raw ore iron grade and iron concentrate quality of on-site four rep-resentative ore samples with different grade gradients was studied. The results show that:①The iron grade of the raw ore decreases, and the disseminated particle size of titanium magnetite and ilmenite becomes finer;②The raw ore with higher Fe grade has higher TiO2 and V2O5 grade, higher harmful component S content, lower P content. The content of other impurities CaO,MgO,Al2O3 and SiO2 shows a downward trend;③The raw ore with higher Fe grade has higher iron content and distribution rate in titanium magnetite, that is,the grade of vanadium-titanium magnetite is higher and the theoretical recovery rate of iron concentrate is high-er;④For the raw ore with high Fe grade, the contents of titanium magnetite, ilmenite and sulfide ore are high, and the content ratio of ilmenite to titanium magnetite decreases;⑤The lower the Fe grade of the raw ore is,the easier the ore is to grind;⑥The raw ore with higher TFe grade has higher yield of iron concentrate, higher TiO2 grade and S content of concentrate, which indicates that the quality of iron concentrate produced by raw ore with lower grade is more conducive to subsequent smelting.
