Rare Earth Mineralization Characteristics of Different Iron Ore Types in a Deposit in Inner Mongolia
In order to clarify the relationship between different iron ore types and rare earth mineraliza-tion characteristics of a deposit in Inner Mongolia,based on the basic analysis data of rock/ore types and rare earth and iron exposed by massive and systematic exploration projects in the mining area,the iron and rare earth resources are further classified on the basis of the existing iron ore classification.A total of 6 differ-ent types of iron-rare earth ore types were divided,and the metallogenic scale,intensity and spatial distri-bution characteristics of rare earth in each type were characterized.Studies have shown that there are great differences in rare earth mineralization and enrichment intensity in different types of iron ores,and the scale of rare earth mineralization and enrichment in the shallow part is greater than that in the deep part.There is a certain correlation between rare earth and iron mineralization in spatial output,but it is not formed by fluid mineralization in the same system.
