Geological Characteristics and Prospecting Prospect of Jinziwei Copper-molybdenum Deposit in Tongling Area
The Jinziwei copper and molybdenum deposit in Tongling City,Anhui Province is located in the northern contact zone of the Sandanjiao ore field and is a newly discovered copper and molybdenum deposit in recent years.According to the exploration results,it is believed that the ore body mainly exists in the vicinity of the contact zone between the Carboniferous system,the lower Permian system and the sandy foot rock body.The ore body is vein-like and stratified.The ore body strikes near the west and tends to the south in general,and the average copper grade is 1.26%.The surrounding rock of the mining area is mainly silicified,carbonated,chlorite and skarn,and the genetic type of the deposit is medium-low temperature hydrothermal deposit.By summarizing the geological characteristics and metallogenic rules of the ore depos-it,it is confirmed that the north side of the sandy foot rock body has good ore bearing property,and it also points out the direction for the next ore prospecting work of the sandy foot ore field.
