Optimization of Ventilation System in a Copper Mine
In mine production,the safety of ventilation system plays a key role,which directly af-fects the safety of working environment.Based on the background of Yinshan Copper Mine,the ventilation system in the middle section of -358 and -458 m is investigated and measured on site,and the measured data are analyzed statistically.The results show that the ventilation effect of the -358 m lead-zinc old sys-tem fan is not obvious,the ventilation is difficult in the -458 m middle mining area,and the ventilation structure is not perfect.Therefore,the Ventsim 3D simulation system model was adopted to formulate the ventilation system optimization scheme,improve the ventilation structure,and simulate the optimization effect of the implementation scheme.The results of engineering practice show that the qualified rate of wind speed is increased from 35.6% to 73.7%,and the working environment of the operation surface is ob-viously improved.The optimization scheme effectively solves the ventilation and environmental problems faced by the mine,and provides experience for similar mines.
