Stability Analysis of an Open-pit Slope under Different Loads
In order to understand the slope stability of an open-pit mine under different load condi-tions,the slope stability was analyzed and calculated by numerical simulation.Three different load condi-tions:dead weight, dead weight+blasting vibration force, dead weight+seismic force, respectively. The stability of the slope can be reflected by the distribution characteristics of shear strain and displacement. The results show that under different load conditions, the regional shear strain values of the model are in a controllable range, and most of the regional displacement values in the X and Y directions fluctuate in a certain range.According to the simulation results, the overall stability of the open-pit slope is within the controllable range, and large-scale slope sliding and instability will not occur, but it is suggested to strengthen the monitoring and early warning of the slope during the mining process to ensure the safety of mine production.
