Optimization Design and Stability Analysis of a Large Dump
As a place to accept waste rock,the open-pit mine dump is an indispensable permanent engineering building for the organization of production.In order to meet the production demand,the optimi-zation design of a large dump is carried out.The fan layout method is adopted to change the step elevation to 160,195,240,285,330 m.The balance and discharge volume of the dump are compared by combining the two methods,and the stability coefficient of the dump is calculated according to the limit equilibrium analysis method.The results show that compared with the original design of 0.996 million m3,the optimized volume of soil discharge is increased by 0.732 million m3,and the stability coefficient of slope profiles in the dump can meet the requirements of the code,which can provide reference for similar projects.
