Experimental Study on Separation of Kaolinite from Coal Gangue in Buliangou Coal Mine
In order to realize the multi-purpose resource utilization of coal gangue,the coal gangue of Buliangou Coal Mine was taken as the research object.On the basis of analyzing the physical and chemical properties of coal gangue and determining the occurrence state of kaolinite rock in coal gangue,the theory and method of separating kaolinite rock from coal gangue were discussed,and the effects of different calcina-tion temperature and calcination time on the whiteness of kaolinite rock calcining kaolin were studied.The experimental results show that kaolinite rock can be effectively separated from coal gangue by intelligent dry separation and wind separation technology based on image recognition and material recognition.In the pro-cess of calcining kaolin by kaolinite rock,the whiteness of kaolin product can reach 84% under the condi-tion of calcination temperature of 1000℃ and calcination time of 3 h,which can meet the industrial appli-cation requirements of secondary whiteness kaolin.
