Preparation and Performance Study of Solid Waste-Based Composite Coatings
In order to improve the utilization rate of waste in the process of silica ore processing, silica fume is selected as the base material and compounded with zinc phytate and boric acid to prepare silica fume-based composite coatings. The anti-aging properties of the composite coatings after UV accelerated ag-ing for different time are studied by colorimeter and cone calorimeter. The results show that the zinc phytate-boric acid-silica fume based composite coating has good anti-ultraviolet capability. After 14 days of aging, the color change of the zinc phytate-boric acid-silica fume based coating is the smallest, and the whitening phenomenon of the coating surface is obviously improved.Compared with the silica fume-based coating and the zinc phytate silica fume-based coating, the increase of the heat release rate peak of the zinc phytate-bo-ric acid-silica fume-based composite coating after aging is reduced. This study provides a new way for the utilization of solid waste resources.
