Experimental Study on Flotation of a Silver-rich Pb-Zn Ore in Tibet
The lead grade of a silver-rich Pb-Zn ore in Tibet is 2.62%,the zinc grade is 4.46%,and the associated silver grade is 161 g/t.In order to develop and utilize the ore,the preferential flotation test of lead, and zinc flotation onlead tailings was carried out.The results show that under the conditions of grinding fineness of-0.074 mm accounting for 80%,lime is used as regulator, sodium sulfite and zinc sulfate are used as inhibitors, diethyl dithiocarbamate and butyl xanthate are used as collectors, and A5 is used as col-lector-foamer agent,by one roughing, two cleanings, two scavengings of lead flotation, lead concentrate with lead grade of 49.06%,silver content of 2 842 g/t,lead recovery rate of 95.12%and silver recovery rate of 89.67%was obtained.Zinc concentrate with zinc content of 47.16%and zinc recovery of 88.61%was ob-tained by one roughing, two cleanings, two scavengings of zinc flotation using lime as regulator, copper sul-fate as activator, butyl xanthate as collector and 2#oil as foaming agent. The associated element silver is en-riched in lead concentrate with high recovery rate, which realizes the comprehensive recovery of resources.
