Experimental Study on Beneficiation of a Phosphate Ore in Western Sichuan
The P2O5 grade of a phosphate rock in Western Sichuan is 19.34%,and the main gangue minerals are carbonate and silicate minerals.The comparative exploration test of direct flotation-reverse flo-tation and single reverse flotation shows that the phosphorus recovery rate of phosphate concentrate obtained by single reverse flotation process is much higher than that of direct flotation-reverse flotation,and the sin-gle reverse flotation process is simple and operable.On this basis,the followed reverse flotation condition test shows that:with sulfuric acid as pH regulator,phosphoric acid as inhibitor,WF-01 as collecting agent,through one roughing two cleaning two scavenging reverse flotation,a phosphate concentrate with yield of 51.25%,P2O5 grade of 30.67%and recovery of 81.28%can be obtained.The test results can provide a refer-ence for the separation of a large number of medium and low grade phosphate rocks of the same type in this area.
