Study on Geological Characteristics and Prospecting Direction of No.3 Vein in Gutaishan Gold-antimony Deposit,Hunan Province
The Gutaishan gold-antimony deposit is an important medium-sized gold-antimony depos-it in central Hunan, which belongs to the type of broken zone related to magmatic activity. In order to clarify the geological characteristics and prospecting direction of No.3 gold-antimony vein, based on the analysis of mine geological data, the research work of tunnel survey, drilling verification, rock and ore testing and geo-chemistry has been carried out.The results show that the Jiangkou Formation is a source layer, and the ore-forming elements in the source layer are activated by regional metamorphism, magmatic hydrothermal activi-ty and tectonic movement, which enter the ore-forming fluid and migrate with it,and then enrich the ore-forming in the suitable ore-bearing structure. The vein is obviously zoned in the vertical direction, with a stepped side, and the side Angle is about 70°.Two prospecting targets have been predicted, and four bore-holes have been drilled in No.1 prospecting target, and industrial ore bodies have been seen in all of them, indicating that the deep mining area has a good prospecting prospect.
