Beneficiation Process Test of a Copper Sulfide Ore in Congo(DRC)
In order to efficiently develop and utilize a copper sulfide ore resource in Congo(Kinsha-sa),aiming at the problem of low flotation recovery rate of the concentrator, based on the study of ore proper-ties,the beneficiation process test is carried out.The test results show that the copper-bearing minerals in the copper sulfide ore are mainly chalcopyrite, the copper grade is 2.03%,and the copper metal is mainly distributed in the-0.038 mm fraction.Under the conditions of grinding fineness of-74 μm 70%,collector butyl xanthate dosage of 60 g/t and 2#oil dosage of 30 g/t,copper concentrate with copper grade of 26.20%and copper recovery of 85.70%can be obtained by one roughing-three cleaning-two scavenging closed-cir-cuit flotation process. The research results can provide technical basis for the recovery of copper sulfide ore by flotation method.
