Experimental Study on Floatation of Scheelite by Hydroxamic Acid Nanoparticle Collector
In order to realize the effective recovery of micro-fine scheelite,hydroxamic acid nanopar-ticles(SAC)containing hydroxamic acid groups are used as scheelite collector.The flotation performance of SAC and salicylhydroxamic acid(SHA)on scheelite and gangue minerals is compared by flotation test.The results show that the flotation recovery rate of SAC for scheelite is 5.7 percentage points higher than that of SHA for scheelite,and the flotation recovery rate of SAC for calcite is 4.0 percentage points lower than that of SHA for calcite.SAC has no collecting effect on quartz.The contact angle and Zeta potential analysis show that SAC is adsorbed on the surface of scheelite to form a nano-scale rough structure,which works together with the hydrophobicity of SAC to increase the contact angle of the surface of scheelite and improve the hy-drophobicity of scheelite.
