Study on Process Mineralogy of Spodumene Ore No.Ⅰ Vein Ore in Lijiagou,Sichuan Province
In order to efficiently develop and utilize the Lijiagou spodumene deposit in Sichuan Prov-ince,the process mineralogical characteristics of No.1 vein ore in Lijiagou spodumene deposit are studied by means of polarizing microscope observation, chemical multi-element analysis and X-ray diffraction anal-ysis(XRD).The results show that the content of Li2O in the ore is 0.82%,which belongs to low grade ore.The minerals in the ore are mainly spodumene, with medium-coarse grained dissemination and coarse crys-tal size.Gangue minerals are quartz, feldspar and mica, and mica and feldspar contain extremely trace amounts of lithium.Although the particle size of spodumene is uneven, the yield of medium particles in 320~1 280 μm is 78.174%,which is a type of ore that is easy to be dissociated. The lithium in the ore main-ly occurs in spodumene with a distribution ratio of 97.998%,and the average grade of Rb2O is 0.082%,which reaches the industrial grade index of comprehensive recovery of associated rubidium. The results of single mineral chemical analysis of spodumene show that the content of Li2O is 7.68%,which is lower than the theoretical content of spodumene.Isomorphous substitution may occur. The ore also contains impurities such as Fe,Mn and Na,and some iron and manganese are filled in the cleavage and fissure of spodumene, which will have a certain degree of influence on the grade of spodumene.
