Study on the Recycling of Low-concentration Cyanide-containing Wastewater in a Gold Mine
The cyanide content of cyanide tailings slurry in a gold mine is 50~70 mg/L.In order to re-cycle the low concentration cyanide-containing wastewater, reduce the dosage of sodium cyanide and re-duce the operation load of cyanide breaking system, the experimental study on the recycling of low concen-tration cyanide-containing wastewater is carried out.The test results show that the process index is the best when the cyanide-containing wastewater is added to the alum-breaking pulp process and the final cyanide pulp concentration is controlled to about 25%.The actual consumption of sodium cyanide is 0.91 kg/t,the consumption of sodium cyanide is decreased by 0.21 kg/t,the gold leaching recovery rate is 93.89%,and the gold leaching recovery rate is increased by 0.92 percentage points. The cost of sodium cyanide agent can be saved by 1.455 million yuan/a,and the cost of cyanide breaking is 97.24 million yuan/a.The environmen-tal and economic benefits are remarkable, and the purpose of reducing cost and increasing efficiency is achieved.
