Experiment on Catalytic Removal of Impurities by Hydrochloric Acid from Nilsen Heavy Sand in a Gold Mine in Henan Province
In order to improve the gold sales valuation coefficient of Nielsen heavy sand in a gold con-centrator in Henan Province, based on the study of the properties of Nielsen heavy sand, the principle of im-purity removal by various organic acids is compared and analyzed, and the test route of hydrochloric acid im-purity removal is determined.Through the single factor condition test, the optimum test conditions of hydro-chloric acid impurity removal catalyzed by sodium chloride are determined. The results show that when the concentration of hydrochloric acid is 3 mol/L,the concentration of sodium chloride is 4 mol/L,the reaction temperature is 90℃,the liquid-solid ratio is 10∶1,and the reaction time is 1.5 h,the impurity removal rate is optimal. On this basis, the comprehensive test of the best conditions is carried out.The content of Nielsen heavy placer gold increases from 18.88%to 55.5%,the impurity removal rate reaches 65.98%,and the valuation coefficient of gold in sales time could be increased from 94%to 96%.It is expected to increase economic benefits by more than 4 million yuan per year.
