Research Progress on Activation Technology and Mechanism of Lithium Slag
Lithium slag is the industrial solid waste discharged in the process of smelting lithium prod-ucts,its long-term accumulation will not only cause a large amount of waste of land resources,but also cause great harm to the surrounding natural environment.In recent years,the activation treatment and re-source utilization of lithium slag have been widely concerned.The physicochemical property,activation ori-gin,activation technology and activation mechanism of lithium slag are systematically reviewed in this pa-per,which provides a reference for the activation research and large-scale utilization of lithium slag in the future.The part of SiO2 and Al2O3 in lithium slag exists in amorphous form,so it contains a certain pozzola-nic activity.Although different activation technologies can stimulate the potential activity,there are prob-lems of low activation degree and high activation cost when using a single technology to stimulate the activity of lithium slag.Therefore,the activation technology of lithium slag should be developed in the direction of composite activation with multiple methods in the future.
