Study on Ratio Optimization of Steel Ball Medium in First Stage Grinding in Mirador Copper Mine
Aiming at the problems of unreasonable ball filling system and unreasonable particle size composition of grinding products inϕ7.9 m×13.6 m ball mill of Mirador Copper Mine,the medium ratio of initial ball was calculated.The initial ball scheme was determined to beϕ80 mm,ϕ60 mm,ϕ50 mm,ϕ40 mm,ϕ30 mm steel ball with a mass ratio of 15∶20∶25∶20∶20.The grinding comparison test of the recommended initial ball and the original initial ball was carried out.It is recommended that the diameter ratio of the initial ball is suitable and the grade is reasonable.The yield of-0.074 mm grade of the grinding product is 4.11 per-centage points higher than that of the original ball on site,the yield of 0.074~0.010 mm intermediate grade is increased by 2.05 percentage points,and the yield of+0.20 mm to be ground is reduced by 6.24 percent-age points.The optimization effect is obvious.The results of the contrast test of adding balls show that,com-pared with adding a single type steel ball,when the mass ratio ofϕ80 mm,ϕ60 mm,ϕ50 mm andϕ40 mm is 25∶35∶20∶20,the yield of-0.074 mm grade of grinding products is increased by 6.05 percentage points,the yield of 0.074~0.010 mm grade of intermediate easy-to-select grain is increased by 3.14 percentage points,and the yield of+0.20 mm grade is decreased by 8.87 percentage points.The test results are of great significance to improve the particle size composition of the primary grinding products,reduce the copper content in the coarse fraction of the mixed flotation tailings,and improve the copper recovery rate.
