Zircon U-Pb Age,Geochemistry Characteristics and Genesis of the Piaotang'ao Granite in Northern Guangdong
The Piaotang'ao granite in northern Guangdong is located in the south of Zhuguangshan plu-ton.The pluton is closely related to iron mineralization, the research degree is low,and there are still many debates on the division of stages and genesis. The analysis of geochemistry characteristics and LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb age in Piaotang'ao granite, northern Guangdong, shows that the contents of Si,K and Na are low, with ω(SiO2)ranging from 49.92%to 53.41%,ω(K2O)ranging from 0.93%to 2.34%,ω(Na2O)ranging from 0.72%to 1.60%.Iron,magnesium and calcium content is rich,ω(TFeO)is 7.69%~10.08%,average 9.07%,ω(MgO style)is 10.53%~18.14%,average 13.07%,ω(CaO)is 7.67%~11.38%,average 9.32%.The total amount of rare earth elements(ΣREE)is 83.11×10-6~222.71×10-6,and the partitioning pattern is roughly to the right.Eu loss is obvious,δEu value is higher than 0.76~0.89,and the average value is 0.82.The incompatible elements Rb,K,U and P were enriched, while Ba,Sr and Ti were significantly depleted.LA-ICP-MS zircon has an age of 429.0±12 Ma.The above analysis results show that the Piaotang'ao granite belongs to crust-mantle mixed type granite, which is the product of early Silurian magmatic activity, and the magma mainly comes from the melting of crustal materials and some mantle materials.
