Research on Application of Various Geophysical Methods in Leakage Detection of Phosphogypsum Yard
In order to find out the reason of water seepage under the impervious membrane of phos-phogypsum yard and find out the seepage channel and direction of underground water source,three geo-physical exploration methods of parallel high density resistivity sounding,natural potential and resistivity penetration are compared to detect.The results show that the background resistivity in the study area is about 36~50 Ω·m,and the relatively closed low-resistance region with lower than the background resistiv-ity is divided into the influence range of the leakage channel and the low-resistance leakage region outside the study area,and the possible seepage channel in the study area is inferred.The potential gradient in the study area was determined by the size of the spontaneous potential,the direction of the underground elec-trochemical field was analyzed,and three low potential convergence areas were divided.The distribution range of resistivity values in the study area is 30~170 Ω·m.According to the plane distribution of resistivi-ty anomalies and the topographic characteristics of the study area,which are low in the north and high in the south and low in the west and high in the east,five abnormal regions are divided,and the resistivity values are all less than 55 Ω·m.The results of spontaneous potential and resistivity penetration have a high coincidence in the plane position,which further verifies the feasibility of the method.Based on the results of three kinds of geophysical exploration and the distribution of site topography,the cause of water seepage and the channel and direction of underground seepage field are determined.
