U-shaped Steel Support Optimization of Loose Thick Coal Seam Roadway in Sanjusheng Coal Mine
The roadway support of loose thick coal seam is the key to ensure the safety of coal mine production,but the traditional U-shaped steel is difficult to form effective support for loose thick coal seam roadway,which often causes serious roadway deformation and roof caving.Therefore,the improved technol-ogy of U-shaped steel for roadway support is put forward.The new U-shaped steel support structure in-cludes yieldable supporting body composes of arch roof,side wall and optional invert frame,metal mesh,double resistant geoembrane,and backfilling high expansion chemical grouting material.The field industri-al test and monitoring are carried out in Sanjusheng Coal Mine 9105 working face ventilation roadway as the research area.The results showed that the improved U-shaped steel sleeve support technology effectively solved the serious deformation of roadway and other problems.The use of chemical grouting materials can significantly accelerate the stability of roadway,reduce the deformation of steel support,which effectively improve the coal mine production efficiency.
