Flotation Process Test of a High Altitude Spodumene Ore
In order to improve the beneficiation index of a high-altitude spodumene ore,based on the study of ore properties,the ore is subjected to grinding-desliming-flotation test.The test results show that under the conditions of grinding fineness of-0.074 mm 70%,settling desliming time of 4 min,flotation roughing sodium carbonate dosage of 500 g/t,sodium hydroxide dosage of 500 g/t,new collector CF-18 dos-age of 1 400 g/t and magnesium chloride dosage of 50 g/t,the spodumene concentrate with Li2O grade of 5.54%and Li2O recovery of 82.63%is obtained by one roughing-three cleaning-one scavenging closed-cir-cuit flotation.The process flow and reagent system are simple,and conform to the nature of the high altitude spodumene ore and the water quality characteristics of the mining area.
