Research on Crushing Effect of Molybdenite Based on Crushing Index and Fractal Dimension
In order to explore the effect of grinding aids on the crushing effect of molybdenite,Yichun Luming molybdenite is taken as the research object,and sodium tripolyphosphate,sodium hexametaphos-phate and sodium silicate are used as grinding aids.The variation rule of ore crushing index and fractal di-mension before and after adding grinding aids is studied,and the variation relationship between crushing in-dex and fractal dimension is discussed.The results show that the crushing index of molybdenite is signifi-cantly related to the concentration of grinding aid,soaking time and the type of grinding aid.When the con-centration of grinding aid is 0.05%and the soaking time is 5 min,the crushing index values of adding sodi-um hexametaphosphate,sodium tripolyphosphate and sodium silicate are 12.1%,11.8%and 11.3%,re-spectively,which are 1.6,1.3 and 0.8 percentage points higher than those without grinding aid,indicating that the addition of grinding aid increases the crushing index of molybdenite and makes it easier to break.The fractal dimension of molybdenite increases after adding grinding aids,indicating that the grinding aids change the particle shape and particle distribution of molybdenite.The fractal dimension of adding sodium hexametaphosphate,sodium tripolyphosphate and sodium silicate increased by 75.7%,66.2%and 41.4%,respectively,compared with that without grinding aids.There is a significant correlation between the crush-ing index and the fractal dimension.Within a certain range,the crushing index of the crushed stone will in-crease with the increase of the fractal dimension,that is,the better the effect of the grinding aid on the ore,the larger the fractal dimension of the crushed stone,and the higher the crushing index.
