Research and Application of Second Stage Grinding Optimization in Zhangzhuang Iron Mine
In order to reduce the energy consumption of grinding operation and improve the particle size distribution characteristics of products in Zhangzhuang Iron Mine,the optimization tests of steel ball precision grinding and ceramic ball replacement steel ball grinding are carried out for the second stage grind-ing.The test results show that the grinding capacity of the two optimization methods is close to the grinding effect of the original steel ball,and both of them can reduce the grinding energy consumption and improve the particle size composition of the product.The application methods and effects of the two optimization methods in industry are different.The application of steel ball precision grinding is simpler,but the effect of energy saving and consumption reduction is weak.The application of ceramic ball instead of steel ball grind-ing is more complicated,and the grinding effect is easily limited by the performance of classification equip-ment,but the energy saving and consumption reduction effect is remarkable,and the ceramic ball grinding process is stable,which is an effective way to improve the grinding efficiency and reduce the grinding cost in the fine grinding section of iron mine.
