Risk Comprehensive Evaluation of Water Damage and Stability in Old Goaf Area of a Fluorite Mine
In order to grasp the basic situation of volume, scale, water richness and stability in the old goaf area of an integrated fluorite mine in Henan province, the geophysical exploration and stability assess-ment of water richness in Huangtugang mining area of the mine are carried out.The water abundance in old goaf area is studied by combining theoretical analysis with ground geophysical exploration. The stability of old goaf area is analyzed by field investigation and empirical formula checking. The results show that eight water-rich anomaly areas have been delineated in the old goaf area of K2 and K3 orebodies in Huangtugang mining area, with a total area of 21 074.22 m2 and a total volume of 358 902.3 m3.Each abnormal area is scattered and isolated in space. The old goaf area is characterized by a single goaf with small scale, good roof stability and safety level. The comprehensive assessment shows that the old goaf area does not pose a ma-jor accident hazard. On this basis, reasonable suggestions for the treatment of old goaf area are given, which provide a reliable basis for the prevention and control of water damage in old goaf area, and also provide a reference for the investigation of hidden disaster factors in mines under similar conditions.
