Geological Characteristics and Genesis Analysis of the Tenglongling Gold Deposit in East Junggar,Xinjiang
It provides theoretical support for the exploration, development and potential evaluation of gold resources, the geological characteristics of Tenglongling Gold Deposit are deeply analyzed, and the ge-netic mechanism of the depositis explored. The geological background of strata, structure and magmatic rock in the area where the gold deposit is located is systematically studied, and the form,scale,occur-rence,ore type, mineral composition and alteration characteristics of the surrounding rock are analyzed in detail.By geological mapping, thin section identification and geochemical analysis,it is found that the gold deposit exists in the secondary structure derived from the Late Carboniferous Shiqiantan Formation and deep fault, and the ore bodies are mostly vein-like and lenticular. The main ore types are structural al-tered rock type, and the alteration of surrounding rock develops limonite, pyrite, silicification, etc. The formation of gold deposit is closely related to diorite porphyrite veins with structural intrusion, and the ge-netic type of the deposit is tectonically altered rock type. The research results not only deepen the under-standing of the genesis of the gold deposit, but also point out the direction of further exploration and devel-opment of gold resources in the region, and have certain guiding significance for gold prospecting under similar geological background.
