Experimental Study on Grading Filtration of Fine-grained Mineral Slurry in a Concentrator
In order to separate the coarse-grained materials in the fine-grained slime and filter in a concentrator, the properties of the fine-grained slime(one-stage cyclone overflow)are analyzed. On this ba-sis,the cyclone classification and ceramic filter filtration test are carried out.The results show that the parti-cle size of the slime is fine, the content of-20 μm particle size is as high as 66.86%,and the oxidation rate of lead and zinc is high. After cyclone classification, the content of-20 μm fraction in cyclone grit can be re-duced to 19.75%,and the oxidation rate of lead and zinc can be reduced to less than 10.0%.The filtration test shows that the ceramic filter can effectively filter the water in the settling sand of the cyclone. The water content of the filter cake is 12.23%and the filtrate is clear.
