Process Test of Titanium Separation from High Intensity Magnetic Tailings in Westem Panzhihua
In order to recycle and reuse TiO2 from the tailings of high intensity magnetic separation in a concentrator in Westem Panzhihua, based on the study of the properties of ore samples, the experimental study on the process of titanium re-separation from tailings is carried out.The results show that the pre-en-riched concentrate with TiO2 grade of 19.02%and TiO2 recovery of 41.46%is obtained by pre-concentrating the ore sample by coarse and fine classification-fine grained one roughing one cleaning one scavenging high intensity magnetic separation. For the pre-enriched concentrate, titanium concentrate with yield of 31.74%,TiO2 grade of 47.14%,and TiO2 recovery rate of 79.11%is finally obtained through flotation closed-circuit test. The comprehensive recovery rate of titanium in the whole process is 32.80%.The research results can pro-vide technical support for the re-separation of titanium from high intensity magnetic tailings in the concentra-tor,and have reference significance for the re-separation of other high intensity magnetic tailings resources.
