Geological Characteristics and Genesis Analysis of Granite-type Lithium Deposit in Shuinan Mining Area,Yifeng,Jiangxi
A large number of granite-type lithium deposits are developed in the Yifeng-Fengxin area on the southern margin of the Jiuling Mountains.Lithium deposits are mainly hosted in Yanshanian granites. The metallogenic type is granite lithium mica-type lithium deposits.Shuinan mining area is one of the typi-cal deposits.Taking the lithium deposits in the Shuinan mining area as research object, based on the system-atic collection of field data, the geological characteristics of the deposit are summarized, and the genesis of granite-type lithium deposits is analyzed in combination with the alteration characteristics of the deposit and the occurrence state of lithium. The results show that the lithium ore body occurs in muscovite(monzonitic)granite of Baishuidong rock mass in Yanshan period, and lithium mainly occurs in minerals such as lepido-lite,iron lithium mica and lithium rich muscovite. The ore-bearing rock mass is highly evolved peralumi-nous granite. The higher the degree of magmatic evolution, the more lithium-rich the rock mass. The crystal-lization differentiation of the magma leads to the continuous enrichment of lithium and other ore-forming ele-ments in the residual melt.In addition to crystallization differentiation, the core-rim structure of lithium-rich mica in muscovite granite shows hydrothermal alteration characteristics.Lithium is preferentially en-riched in granitic magma or magmatic hydrothermal solution due to its unique chemical properties. In the lat-er stage, the lithium-rich hydrothermal fluid strongly reformed the muscovite, making the ore-forming ele-ments form a highly enriched lepidolite at the mica boundary. Therefore, the genesis of lithium deposits in the mining area has both magmatic differentiation and hydrothermal alteration characteristics.
