Utilization Status and Development Path of China's Oil Sands Resources
Oil sand is an important unconventional energy mineral resource,which can be used as an important supplement to oil.The characteristics,resource distribution and mining technology progress of oil sands resources are introduced.Based on the resource endowment and mining status of oil sands in China,the development path of oil sands industry in China is put forward from the perspective of energy security.The research shows that China is rich in oil sand resources and has great potential for development and utili-zation,but the degree of exploration and development is low and the occurrence of resources is unclear.The state should pay attention to the development and utilization of oil sands resources,strengthen the top-level design,formulate a moderately advanced medium and long-term development plan for oil sands resources,and plan the development of oil sands resources from a strategic perspective.At the same time,we will strengthen the exploration and evaluation of oil sand resources,accelerate technological research and devel-opment,and make resources and technical reserves for the development and utilization of oil sands.The gov-ernment management link optimizes the approval procedure of oil sands mining rights to effectively promote the development and utilization of oil sands resources and ensure national energy security.
