Three-dimensional Stability Analysis of a Proposed Spatial High-grain Heap Dump
In order to investigate the slope stability of a proposed high grain pile type dump in Inner Mongolia,a 3D Mine-Rhino-FLAC3D multi-software technique is used to construct a refined 3D dump mod-el,and the distribution of stress, strain and safety factor under seismic conditions is analyzed. The results show that the overall and local stability coefficients of the proposed No.3 dump are 1.406~1.90,which meet the requirements of the code, but the safety coefficient of the slope is relatively small. The maximum surface displacement of each layer of the hierarchical pile is located in the middle and upper part of the main land-slide surface, and the displacement distribution law of the dump does not change under the earthquake con-dition.The displacement of the base of the dump tends to decrease from the middle to both sides due to the influence of multi-layered material stacking above the dump. The slope of 1 125~1 105 m platform is steep-er and stress concentration occurs.Three-dimensional numerical analysis can better reflect the mechanics characteristics of high grain pile type dump.
