Research on Process Mineralogy of a Gold Ore in Muli,Sichuan Province
In order to find out the process mineralogy characteristics of chemical composition,struc-ture,mineral composition, particle size of gold-bearing minerals and occurrence state of gold in a gold de-posit in Muli,Sichuan Province, detailed process mineralogy research is carried out by means of chemical analysis, microscopic identification,MLA and other test methods. The results show that the gold content of the ore is 2.18 g/t,the gold particle size is extremely fine, mainly distributed below 0.010 mm,and the mi-cro-particle gold accounts for 99.70%of the relative content. The main occurrence form of gold ore is in the form of wrapped gold, accounting for 85.83%,followed by intergranular gold and fissure gold. However, their carrier minerals pyrite and arsenopyrite are mainly coarse and medium-sized,which are easy to be dis-sociated.This embedding feature of gold minerals is suitable for flotation process.Under the condition of grinding fineness of-0.074 mm accounting for 55%,a gold concentrate with gold grade of 37.47 g/t can be obtained by one roughing, two cleaning and three scavenging closed-circuit flotation test, and the gold re-covery rate is as high as 94.02%.
