Research and Application of Plugging Method of Drainage System in a Tailings Pond
The plugging of tailings pond drainage system is usually carried out under the dam,which is difficult to construct and has high safety risk.In order to solve the technical problems of conventional plug-ging,the plugging method of drainage system of a tailings pond is studied in combination with an engineer-ing example.On the premise of comprehensively considering the topographic conditions,engineering geolog-ical conditions,drainage system operation conditions and on-site construction factors,the appropriate plug-ging position and plugging length are determined.By adopting the method of segmental plugging,drilling holes and fillings are arranged,and underwater non-dispersible fine stone concrete is gradually poured from the middle to both ends for plugging.Through practice,the plugging quality is reliable and the effect is good.This method effectively solves the problem of water plugging under the dam and ensures the safety of the plugging project,which can provide some technical reference for related projects.
