Ionospheric Clutter Suppression Methods of High Frequency Ground Wave Radar Based on Generalized S Transform
In order to suppress the ionospheric interference to the high frequency ground wave radar echo,a generalized S-transform(GST)based time freqneucy filtering method is presented in this paper.Time-frequency filtering methods.Converting ionospheric contaminated time-domain data into time-frequency domain for analysis and processing by GST.Based on the correlation between adjacent time-window signals and ionospheric clutter,Hankel matrix is constructed from the data in time-window in turn,and then subspace filtering is applied to reduce the ionospheric interference.Analysis is done by comparing with traditional methods and by processing measured data.The ionospheric clutter suppression in the echo spectrum obtained good results.The feasibility and valid-ity of this method in the ionospheric clutter suppression are verified.
