Efficacy of Simo decoction combined with ring-headed thumb-tack needle on gastrointestinal and immune function after radical resection of cervical cancer
Objective To explore the curative effect of Simo decoction combined with ring-headed thumb-tack needle on the recovery of gastrointestinal and immune system function after radi-cal resection of cervical cancer.Methods Clinical data of 142 patients undergoing radical resection of cervical cancer from September 2020 to October 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.Seventy 70 cases were included as study objects according to exclusion criteria and divided into 4 groups accord-ing to different postoperative treatment methods.The experimental group was given symptomatic supportive treatment with Simo decoction,ring-headed thumb-tack needle,Simo decoction combined with ring-headed thumb-tack needle(combined group),respectively,and the control group was not given special treatment.The recovery of gastrointestinal function and immune system among the groups was compared.Results In terms of restoration of gastrointestinal function,the time to first flatus and defecation was significantly shorter in Simo decoction group than in the control group(P＜0.05).The number of monocytes was significantly higher in the combined group on the third postoperative day(P＜0.05).In addition,the CD4/CD8 ratio was significantly higher in the ring-headed thumb-tack needle group than in the control group(P=0.04),and the ratio was generally higher than 1.4.Conclusions Simo decoction can reduce the recovery time of gastrointestinal function after operation,and ring-headed thumb-tack needle can improve the immune function after operation,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
